Did I miss the announcement: New Control Vinyls available

Hi there,

did I miss the announcement or has NI introduced the new Control Vinyls silently? They feature the new ugly corporate design but deliver new fancy colours: Purple, Orange Transparent and Neon Pink Transparent. Availably also in classic black, blue and red. Has someone already one of the new colours and can provide some real world pictures. I am interested in the look of the new colours. Have ordered one of each but will take some days to arrive. :-)

BTW: The "old" ones in legacy design are available at a reduced price.

    cool! just ordered 2 pairs of orange, and a pair classic reds.
    the old logo/sticker with the arrows was the best.

    havent seen an announcement either. Asked on NI‘s YT channel and they have no idea what i am talking about

    Well as there wasn‘t really an announcement I expected no change to the Red and Blue ones except for the label an sleeve. The old Red and Blue aren‘t called transparent either but they are. Maybe I need to order Red an Blue too.

    Not sure if I should cry or laugh about the answer by NI to your question. Builds up real confidence in the future of Traktor - but that‘s another topic.

    Got confirmation that the other three colours on the way now. Tracking says they will arrive tomorrow.

    Totally forgot to take pictures over playing with my new Maschine.

    Purple and transparent neon pink on dark slipmat and neon pink on the white sleeve.

    Except for the label the purple one looks exactly as the purple from the 20 years Limited Edition.

    The neon pink and orange ones are quite nice in my opinion. May get a second one of both soon. :)

    Anyone has already the new red and blue ones? Are they really solid?

    they are announced as solid. Guess the blue one will look like the 20year blue one as well by Shiftee

    the red is also solid, looking at this facebook pic, wich means they are heavier, the new orange are very light like the clear legacy records.

    Got finally a blue one today and the colour is different to the Shiftee one. The Shiftee one has a more turquoise tint:

    Hey guys, thanks for the pictures and the info!

    Tell us a bit more about:
    - Feeling
    - Grammage
    - Flatness / Wobbling
    - Are the stickers still there?

    I thought the blue and red ones were the best of the old ones, from the looks of the pictures they are probably closer to the black and white ones?
