What happened to the hotfix for the 2.15 update?

Hi @Dstep ATL are you referring to a hotfix to this issue?
0 -
No, the one where the Maschine+ is incompatible with 2.15 on PC
we were told the fix would be available by last Monday. Did I miss it?

I responded to your question.

@Dstep ATL So the current plan is that we'll release everything in one go including hotfix, new version of 2.15 and M+. This is to avoid any further compatibility issues. That's why the hotfix wasn't released right away last week.
As for when, this is the first prio so it'll be released as soon as everything is stable. Appreciate your patience here!

This is not what we were promised.

Well. Sometimes things in software development (or life in general) don't go the way it was intended to be. I had this type of stuff multiple times in my job with the software developers in the office. This stuff can happen and has multiple variations and explanations why things go the wrong way sometimes...I rather wait for them to make a solid approach and iron everything out before we (as customers) get more confused/angry whatever. Like @Kaiwan_NI said they want to avoid further issues and take their time. @Jeremy_NI , @Matt_NI I would like to help in Beta testing etc. if I could help with my setup and controllers to test future developments. I registered in the Beta program a year or so ago but nothing happened so far. I really want to help making the next releases at least "more tested" from a "customer" side. I also had this type of scenarios in my day job where I as user wanted to use the software my colleagues were developing and I found bugs using it like I think it was correct and hearing my devs that it shouldn't be used in the way I did it (at least in their opinion)....so I'm good at using things "wrong" I guess...haha ;-)

I’m fine with things taking time if there is clear communication. We shouldn’t have to pry information out of the company when things change. If you know you announced an update would be coming the following week, and that changes, it is your obligation to let people know. To behave otherwise is damaging to an already fragile reputation. That really shouldn’t even have to be said.

Well I agree. It's always communication. Fingers crossed for the next few weeks I guess ;-)

"This is not what we were promised" - the exact reason many devs don't want to communicate anything about upcoming releases..

Hey @Sedat Senguel I will forward your email address to the Maschine team so they invite you to the next beta testing.

Did any NI representative actually say "we promise that x or y"? Because if they didn't, you cannot say anything was promised.

Thank you @Jeremy_NI 🙏🏼👌🏼

Believe it was Matt who said it would be next week, nearly 2 weeks ago now. It was in one of the many threads started by people who posted their Maschine+ is incompatible with the current software.
Communication is something that was said was going to be emphasized. Just saying, honor that statement. That’s all anyone can really ask.

@Dstep ATL I don't think I did but let's not play blame game here. If something was communicated and not followed-up, it's we should fix it. We're not hiding though and we replied to your reminder as soon as we had the information at hand.
The Maschine team is working hard to make this happen as quickly as possible and we're keeping an eye on anything they communicate to us about progress.

Again, the statement was most definitely not as explicitly stated as "we promise it will be out next week". So you cannot say it was promised.
One thing you learn in software development is - deadlines are kinda flexible actually. Most of the time.
