Creator Tools for Traktor

Request: I think it would be great to have a separate Creator Tools app, as Kontakt has, in order to create custom stuff for Traktor.

Goals: 

1- Skin Creator, to create our own skins. Anyone who remembers the old Virtual Dj, there were masterpieces there, made by users.

2- FX Creator, to create our own FX units. As we do in Reaktor, or maybe with some Kontakt-style scripting. Alternately, integration with Reaktor in order to use material from its vast database.


That is what i need, but please feel free to fill in the list with whatever else you think that should be included in a Creator's Tools app!

    There are tools available for VirtualDJ that allow users to create their own skins, which could serve as inspiration for a similar tool for Traktor. Additionally, the concept of a skin creator has been discussed in the Traktor community forums. For creating custom FX units, there are platforms like VISUALZ that offer audio-reactive graphics and effects for live performances3. While not specifically for Traktor, such tools demonstrate the potential for FX creation in DJ software.

    While Traktor DJ 2 offers some creative tools and integration with SoundCloud Go+, and there’s a community discussion about similar ideas, having a dedicated app with the above features could indeed take Traktor to the next level for creators. It would be interesting to see if Native Instruments considers this direction in the future.
