the browsing of sounds/efftects etc etc etc is very very laggy

The Maschine team just reached out to me and I added a quick update about this error is my original post. Unfortunately, the fact that M+ is still missing the save sound with samples feature means it can sometime trigger these kind of errors. The upcoming M+ release will make everything more consistent.

So the people who updated are just SOL? How could anyone have possibly thought the way this update is being handled is appropriate?
I don’t want to overreact, but this seems like a huge error in judgement here.

Rescan is what I did first. Even deleted VST3 an reinstalled Maschine and did. rescan again. No problems with Kontakt VST3… but Maschine does not appear :-( Mmmhh. I have newest Version of everything… .Mac-OS, Ableton, Maschine. Maybe I should delete some File of Ableton to enforce a real new scan. I do not know which one.

Better is relative, for such an old laptop I don't think Monterey is an option but if it is then get it.
The only reason not to be current is if you have old HW/SW that has no drivers/support on the latest OS's... otherwise the more you postpone the bigger the problem became once you are forced to update because something you use no longer supports the old OS's, IMO.

Strangely enough, projects from 2020/2021 load OK

Rescan and disabling and re-enabling is not the same thing in Ableton, that's why I mentioned it, either do that or hold
OPTIONkey while clicking the rescan button. It's a common debug issue for Ableton:If that fails then check your .Log, if for some reason Live is having issues loading the VST3 there should be some info there, open it in a text editor and search for "Maschine"
/Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live x.x.x/Log.

Hi!
I'm struggling to find the inversion parameter in chord mode. Only seeing Bank and Type under scale, Mode and Type under Chord and the fixed velocity paramater on the second page.
Any help?

Oh yeah, sorry forgot about that; my bad... I guess Chord Inversions aren't available for anyone. (or at least for M+ controller mode, not sure about the other controllers) I'll delete the previous post in order to not confuse people even further! thanks.
