Maschine 2.15 is out!

Using Macbook Pro M1 Max and Ableton Live...
I do see Maschine 2 in my Library in VST3-Folder.
Ableton Live is not showing Maschine within Plugins/VST3 . I re-scanned, started the Computer...
Any idea? Do others experience the same?
Thanks for the update!!! I am looking forward to use Maschine as a direct Midi-Input within Ableton again.

no luck. Can’t find the samples, even though I did save with samples. Tags also didn’t work. I dropped the folder direct into user content.

Yea I am running 10.13.6, apparently I was not running the latest version of Maschine because it wasn’t compatible - I did not even realize haha. In order to update to Maschine 2.15 we will need to update our OS to Mojave I believe

For What it's worth, I have been running Catalina quite some time now and it's solid. Only thing which to be aware of is that support for 32-bit mac apps and drivers officially ends with OS Mojave, so if you have 32bit legacy software or drivers you rely on, Mojave is the last OS you can upgrade to.

Can you try downloading the loopop autosampled patches? If those dont work either, something is wrong with your import procedure, as those have already been reported as working with the existing M+ standalone OS
Here's the free loopop autosampler patches:
Just tested these, and got them working. Sounds were copied to "Native Instruments/Maschine 2/Sounds" subfolder and could then be loaded normally under BROWSER - SOUNDS - USER. Haven't yet tried autosampling with Maschine Desktop 2.15 though..
EDIT: Ahh okok, read again your previous post. You copied them to the wrong place on your SD card. For some reason, Maschine sounds (and their samples) need to go to "Native Instruments/Maschine 2/Sounds", instead of "Native Instruments/User Content" like everything else 🤷♂️

Cool, thanks. Yeah I am on a mid 2012 MacBook Pro retina so I have been reluctant to push it past High Sierra. But I guess I have to now..I’ll probably go with Mojave

Will try that now, just so I don’t screw it up. Can you tell me exactly where they need to be located on the SD card?

SD ➡ Native Instruments ➡ Sounds.
It's working here but I had to force Live to do a full re-scan: In the preferences disable VST3 then enable it again, and check if it fixes it.
If you do that then next year you might have to upgrade again, if you don't use any old HW/SW I'd recommend updating to at least Catalina if you can, not sure if it's possible 2012 model tho... 😬

Loopop now working, autosample not

Dang... That's a shame, It works here but I am a version ahead, so I guess M+ users will have to wait.

@Dstep ATL Can you try not using the "save sounds with samples" and instead just copy the contents of the 'Recordings' folder (relevant to the Auto-Sampler Patch) to the M+ SD Card? That might work.

Didn’t work. I don’t understand why Loopops work but stuff created here doesn’t.

a bit sad it is still not handling third party VST3 plugins though

Should I update, is Catalina better than Monterey? I have a Mac Pro Mid 2010 laptop so I think Mojave is best for me or not?
