Xone K2 Modifier/Browser Mapping BUGS

hi everyone,

so i found an existing mapping that has desired functionality for browsing, selecting, previewing. i tried lifting it from that mapping to put into my mapping but there are several bugs.

the original working mapping is:

• based on latches,
• to enter browsing mode, the 'exit setup' button is pressed, it lights up in green
• once in browsing mode, the knob immediately to the left selects up and down
• pressing said knob will load and play the selected track in the preview player
• pressing knob again will stop the preview player
• when exiting the browsing mode, the same knob will control the mix volume

i loaded this mapping and extracted what i thought was relevant and here is the behavior i am seeing:

• my mapping is not based on latches and latch mode is disabled
• 🚫 i enter browsing mode, but button does not light up in green
• 🚫 in browsing mode, the knob does not work in selecting up or down
• 🚫 pressing the knob does load the selected track to the preview player but the track does NOT play
• pressing knob again will stop the preview player
• the same knob will control the mix volume, but does NOT work for selecting in browsing mode

Here is a comparison of the working mapping vs mine. there are several assignments to modifier #1 which is very confusing. i'm not sure if this has to do with latches or not, but i am kind of lost and not sure what is missing.
