Honestly. I can be patient and wait. I'm still making really good tracks in standalone mode. I occasionally have a crash when loading new elements/instruments. But I also have Shift+ File engraved into my sub- conscious. 😅 I'm saving every 60 seconds. I definitely enjoy my unit in standalone and feel more creatively free. Even though I have less choices, it's weird but works for me.

I would be very happy to give you a good price on my almost mint MPC One if you want to defect. You (and some of us) might be less frustrated. 😉

I totally agree with you and feel the same way. It creates creativity and curiosity. Being given a feeling of freedom inside a box seems contradictory but I prefer to work without the computer. More exploring and less searching if it makes any sense.

Back to the original question, I don't see harm wondering if there's any news as it's been well over a week. I don't see that as nagging. Any news is generally better than no news, even if it's just a repeat of 'still diagnosing, no ETA, next update Monday'

Just in case, I did post a quick update on the other thread about the topic. I will indeed know more on Monday or Tuesday next week and should have a bit more information to share here. I'll try to post in both thread even though having one would be preferable.

As much as I hate to agree, I do 100%. I love Maschine's workflow, but I still can't believe there is no vst3 support. So, I end up moving whatever I do in Maschine in to Ableton for vst3's and Ableton's linear Arrangement View. At this point, I've given up hope that the Maschine software will ever develop in to what it should have already been. I never wanted or needed a standalone Maschine, and I really believe that all of the R&D money that NI spent on Maschine+ would have been better spent on software development. I'd take a Macbook Pro with a mk3 of over a standalone Maschine+ any day. Especially if NI would give us native Apple Silicone support.

According to what the users have been consistently asking for. Native Apple Silicone support, vst 3 hosting, and a better sequencer have been steadily requested for years now.

Seem to be some new users around here :)
The issue is that some of the users pressing for more transparency and a little more info are users that have been NI customers for many years/decades and know how things have been working in the past up to today.
Sometimes "it comes when it comes" and "I can be patient...." can be a 5+ year waiting game. Seriously! Somee of us have been waiting for things to happen with some products for a looooooooooooong time and accepted the fate of doom already. While actual crash's may be taken a little more serious than desperately needed functionality, the speed and transparency around what is planned or even in the pipeline has been a problem for the 10+ years I have been a user even after statements that more transparency and feedback will be provided. The Betas are nice and all but still showcase the slow speed of testing... I mean in all that time and all those testing users there are still issues after the release is considered.
So while I don't want to be a downer, I guess new users may be filled with optimism and excitement, some of us older and wiser ones had that candle well and truly burn out long ago and are still waiting for even the slightest ember to repark any optimism.
