I use maschine so far, but I now try to change my workflow a bit and also start everything in cubase instead of only mixing there, then battery working would be fine, will today try your advice with the double folder, try to find and delete the empty one.

Battery asks me for the location of missing samples. I think I'm gonna make the link in the original location. But I'm not sure it will work always 'cause I work on this project both on PC/Win (in the studio) and MacOS (live).

I wonder what happens if I move these two Battery setups to two Kontakts. Does Kontakt handle missing files (due to project move) better?

Now my previous solution NO LONGER WORKS. Battery cannot find the samples again, and this time it CANNOT EVEN RECONNECT.

I think your issue is something else, not exactly what is discussed in this thread. This bug is confirmed for a very long time now. There is no solution, just a cumbersome workaround.

Humble Greetings and Worship to the masters at NI,

I tried the incredibly genius "work around" of saving kits for each & every single battery 4 track, however, when closing the project and reopening, I'm still having to open every single track that has battery 4 for the track to play sounds as normal. Is there any reason why it won't save and remain as is even with the wonderful and awesome "work around"? Please advise. I know you guys have been working hard and tirelessly trying to solve this very long ongoing issue and i'm hoping Jeremy or the Godsend direct from Heaven Matt_NI can give some insight. Blessings and gracious mercy to all the talented folks at NI that work so very hard for us all.

Is there a plan to fix this bug ever? It has been extremely frustrating having to reload the plugin each time I encounter this bug.

I simply stopped using Battery and started using Kontakt… :/
