    What I miss the most?

    1 Retrospective Midi Recording

2 Midi Program Changes (Set a program change for a specific pad which is used to midicontrol ext. synth)

    3 Plugin Delay Compensation

    What I like currently?

I like how snappy the grid is and that the pattern window is very focused

I might be wrong but can we also get 1/32 value on time correct

I would love a simple option to enable/disable the creation of new clip when tapping empty clips (on maschine jam, for example)

Current only behavior is to create a new clip instantly. Maybe an option to behave like push- simply stops playback on said channel unless it’s record-armed.

this allows for one to jam an arrangement live with various clips in random orders, quick ability to silence layers by stopping clips, regardless of focus/mode. No need to hit the top row on Jam to stop playback.

the top row for clip stop in not super intuitive for push users FWIW. Seamless jamming across both platforms would be rad.

A higher contrast between an active pad and one that's muted. They look very similar in normal daylight so hard to tell the difference.

Also the same principle can be added to selected vs non-selected pads / solo / multi select etc....

Maybe it can be added to preferences, with default as it currenly is, then a couple of different options to increase contrast/decrease brightness between the different states.

    What about polyrythm?

Would be great to be able to have patern of different lenght or different signature as the same time

    Lets say group 1 have 4/4 or 16 , group2 4/4 or 10 and group 3 has 3/4 of 6 for example

    Thanks for reading

I would like to add scale highlighting in the piano roll where the note lanes change color to indicate the notes in the scale that you select to work in. I would also like to add a separate toggle to restrict or snap notes to the lanes in the scale. to assist with music theory similar to how Presonus, FL Studio, Ableton, and Reaper work. I'd like it to work with the controller so that you can select the scale and toggle snap from the controller.

I would like to be able to toggle ghost notes as well. This allows you view multiple piano lanes layered together and allow you to select which pattern to edit. FL, Ableton, Reason, Presonus, and Reaper have this feature.

More midi editing tools such as Stamping chords in one action into the piano roll, Velocity scaling, humanize, strum, randomize, reverse order, arpeggiate etc...similar to FL so you can select a bunch of notes then pick a midi action and apply to the notes from the controller.

Also add the ability to slice notes, and pick triangles instead of rectangles for a pattern's notes. This is useful for drum patterns.

Also add more than 2 sends per channel. Unlimited sends would be nice.

Have you ever actually tried that? You're in for a surprise

    yes I tried

    couldnt get it working

but reading you must I understand I did it wrong and that we can do polyrythm now?

Use shift to set pattern lengths in different groups to all kinds of weird measures. Press play and enjoy the shifting polymetres (because AFAIK, that is what that is actually called, because you set polyrhythms via the swing setting, but that is beside the point)

    Hello

    Thank you

I finally managed to get it done (on Maschine Plus so without touching a computer)

I have to go to settings, general and change the time signature to let's say 5:16 (instead of 4:4)

It is applied to all the sub groups that have no note recorded yet

I never tried this before because it is supposed to be a global parameter rather than a group parameter but it does the job.

However if you want to change the time signature of an existing group you have to clear everything in it (at least all the events)

So funtionnality is there but the way to achieve it not intuitive neither clearly advertised by NI

    IMHO this could be improved

    Thanks for reading
