Is it possible to chain together sequences with Reaktor Blocks?

Not sure that there's much point to 64 step patterns in a modular context...

...at least not much point in it being a Block. What I mean is that part of the point of modular is that the module can be controlled by CV from other blocks, and in that context, you really don't need 64 notes, 8 is usually enough and 16 is plenty (there are only 12 notes after all ;-). You generate variation and interest by building a patch that manipulates the various ways that those notes can be played.

If you want a traditional thing where you write a melody, or bassline, and just want that to be played, you don't need that modular flexibility, so you might as well use a non modular midi sequencer and use the note in block. That way you can harness the power of a DAW, or some external hardware sequencer, something that is designed for that type of workflow.

It's a massive shame that the kodiak sequencer doesn't allow A/B modulation of the shift and range parameters - it would be so much more powerful.

It's also surprising that there is no sequential switch among the factory Blocks. That would make it easy to chain multiple sequencers together. I'm sure there are 3rd party sequential switches though. It's a pretty easy thing to build.

...anyway, You should be able to set up one of the non Block factory sequencers and connect it via midi to the note in block, then use that to create some longer patterns, just can't do it as a Rack, needs to be an ensemble. Otherwise, just do it in a DAW. That way you can use a Rack, and send in MIDI and have 1000 steps if you want :)

Toybox have some pretty cool sequencing Blocks available if it really must be a block! They have at least one piano roll style Block that might do what you need.
