I can't see this question asked, so posting it hoping someone has a solution. I have legacy Z1 Control and it no longer works with Tracktor 3 Pro since the Mac Upgrade. Is this related to Native Instruments? Is there a work around? I've been struggling to get anything meaningful out of the help desk?

I can't even see Z1 Control on the NA 3.8.0??

    Thanks in advance

Is the native access 3.8.0 download, once downloaded, called Native-Access_2_Mac_M1.dmg?

If so: I'm not sure what the 2 means.

If not: where do you get 3.8.0? Every native access download link I see takes me to a download for either Intel or M1, both called Native-Access_2...dmg once the get here.

    Thanks

    Traktor z1?

I don't think that is a legacy device.

Though I think I remember a bug with the z1 and Sonoma. It's not related to Native Access.

Try and search in Traktor forum or make a new thread there. It should work, it's not a legacy device.

    Feature Request:

    @Hayo_NI hello,

Dear developer, for god's sake, please give us the option to get rid of this extremely annoying "silent install" and have more control on Native Access!

In my case i have Maschine, Komplete Kontrol and Traktor, among other things. So, every time an update come, every single time, i have to go and uninstall manually a dozen of non-relative drivers!

I don't use them so i don't want them installed in my system. It is that simple. Finally, every app developer has to understand and accept that. It is my system and i want it top-notch and rubbish free (rubbish = whatever i do not use or need).

On other cases (such as Massive, Reaktor and some FX) every time, i have to go and manually delete those damn VST2 versions that i don't use since more than a year!

Not to mention those .aax plugins who are totally useless to me. Why do i have to go every time in my Common Files folder and delete the Avid folder? Why?

This is an extremely annoying situation (plus a waste of time) for every advanced user.

Please, give us the option to disable silent install.

    Thank you :-)

Ahh. Native Access 3.8.0 IS the one called Native Access 2, because, you know, numbers require search/replace, a difficult skill.

And hahahaha. It STILL requires rosetta for NTK Daemon, heading into our 4th year. You won't ever do it. It'll just never happen until the Mac OS doesn't offer the option to install Rosetta. (which is coming, NI, probably next September).

First software license I'm actually going to sell after 14 years. What's happened to you guys?

Native Access 3.8.0 is not working for me at all. I cannot download any applications, instruments, effects, etc. All my brand new NI gear and software is dead in the water at the moment. Everything was working fine before I upgraded my OS from Mac OS v13 to v14.x. I also upgraded Native Access to 3.8.0 so not sure if it was Mac OS upgrade that caused the issue or the upgrade of Native Access.

    Please help.

Most NI plugins are perfectly ok on Sonoma (it's my experience, running Sonoma 14.1.2 and plenty of NI plugins). @DigitSpirit

But some are completely buggy, and not only on Sonoma. Native Access for exemple... Ironically, I use NA 1 and it works ok on my system...

Yes , thank you , hence the word 'officially' and quoting the compatibility information page then since it says : "Native Instruments is conducting systematic tests with macOS 14 Sonoma in order to offer full compatibility of our software and hardware products as soon as possible." , then I would have no idea what so ever with respect to how far N.I. have come. And since I do not even have any Mac computer myself then I can only supply people with the 'officially' available information.

Thank you for your (hopefully) understanding ! 🙂

    I've solved this issue.

The download issue was being caused by Private Relay which I've always had enabled. But, for some reason, either Sonoma 14 or Native Access 3.8 caused an issue with downloads from within Native Access when Private Relay was enabled. I simply disabled Private Relay, rebooted my MAC, downloaded all my content, then re-enabled Private Relay and I'm good now. Kind of a hassle but liveable until NI figures out why Native Access downloads fail when Private Relay is enabled.

Excuse me, I know you put a lot of effort in your Native Access 2 but do you think it is a good idea to delete valid criticism from your community forums? I would like to know the reason since I in no shape or form wrote anything that anyone in a professional environment would remotely consider outright deleting without a comment. Let me just reiterate how absolutely unprofessional it is to not allow a relocate feature on a new PC if you have an external drive with your library, but yes lets redownload 1,5TB and delete our customers complaints. Was it miscathegorized? Then please move it to the appropriate channels instead of outright deleting it without a comment! This was my thread btw:

Must say you guys have done a great job addressing a lot of the problems with NA2. It now starts up and scans for updates really quickly (now faster than NA1), and updates no longer take forever to actually install. I still think the release notes need to be more readily available. At one point you could click the version number as a shortcut, but that seems to be gone. It's helpful when deciding whether to install another 700 MB Kontakt update that may not actually have any changes that are relevant to me.

    But overall…great work!

For what it is worth then the feature to find and use already downloaded content (I think it's called 'Locate All') is a planned feature that is intended to be 'delivered' though there is no set date !

As for having a post deleted and the reason for that then you will have more luck of getting the attention of the Moderators or Community Moderators and finding out reason if you contact one of them directly !
