Recorded Midi: how to add things afterwards?
Probably it is discussed somewhere but I could not find it:
I recorded Midi, say a Synth - afterwards I can playback that. While playing it back I can use the stutter effect or some Filter frequency change.
How to record these things on top? I just use Maschine standalone, no other DAW yet. In a DAW I could record that I guess, but is it doable just in Maschine?

Yes, on a DAW you can do it thru Automation.

I suggest you study using the AUTO button, it activates parameter modulation recording

Uuh thank you!!! That works:
I activate record, hold the AUTO button and then I can add for example Stutter.
BUT only the Mikro MK3 input gets recorded. My Yamaha CP Keyboard is configured that I turn a knob to modulate Filter Frequencies - that however is not recorded. How can I do that?

Also: Is it possible to activate AUTO and not having to hold it all the time?

Ouké I'm one step further:
in the manual 11.5.2 Recording Modulation
I managed to record the modulation via dragging the mouse - next step is top find out how I can just turn the Yamaha Keyboard knob instead of using the mouse :)

Shift+Autowill lock it ON, pressAutoagain to deactivate.Maschine does not record Modulation from external MIDI, this has been requested by users many, many times.

What?! Seriously? Whyyy? That seems so essential to me! I hereby demand this feature for the next update, I solemnly swear to create sweet music with this feature 🧙♂️
It is then doable with a DAW right?
