I bought 2 Traktor X1 Mk3s used and I was going to test them out. 1 of the X1 MK3s wasn't registered on Native Access while the other I need to get the seller to transfer the license. My Mac is an M1 MacBook Air running macOS 27. I install Native Access, add the serial for the unregistered X1. I thought as per the website that X1s came with free Traktor Pro 4 but I only see Traktor Pro 3 listed in Native Access. Regardless I try to install Traktor Pro 3. It fails with the error:
"Installation Failed: You may need to grant full disk access to Native Access and the Daemon. Follow these steps and try again. If the issue persists, please contact support."
I try the trouble shooting steps listed in the link provided. Still the same error. I try multiple times, nothing. I try accessing support I get thrown into a chat with their not so helpful bot. It mentions macOS 27 not being supported. Fair enough. I get my wife's M3 MacBook Air that has Mac OS 15. I go through the same steps but still the same **** error. I just want to test them out!
As a first time user of Traktor I am very disappointed. The hardware looks and feels nice but this whole saga of me trying to install the software has just dampen my moods when I was so excited to try them out. Now I have to try and see if I can download the software on my PC. I can only imagine someone buying their new controller with macOS 27, finding out they can't install the accompanying software and they don't have any alternative laptop or PC to use.
I have already created a support ticket via the inMusic support website but if anyone can help with my predicament I would be very grateful.
My main questions are:
1. How do I install Traktor Pro 3 or 4 on macOS 27 or macOS 15?
2. Does adding the serial of my Traktor X1 Mk3 to my Native Access account grant me access to Traktor Pro 4 or is there a separate license that I need to get from the 3rd party seller? If it is the former, how do I go about it?
