I cannot for the life of me get native access to install. I'm on an M1 Mac, I did an OS update and my Kontakt no longer worked, so I tried to launch NI Access to get an update, had to download a more recent version of NI Access. It wouldn't launch, couldn't get the permissions to run its installer daemon. I gave both NI Access and the daemon full disk access, still didn't work. Restarted. Still nada. Deleted a bunch of plists and such following chatGPT guidance, finally got it to launch. It wants me to reinstall ALL my libraries. Ok. I try to install Kontakt. Not working, because it thinks it doesn't have full disk permission, even though it does and I have restarted multiple times. Finally read here that "Please also ensure that the Application Location is always left as the default location C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\ - changing this location is not supported." I mean how ridiculous? Why is it an option then. Why don't you warn on update? Anyway. So I reset to defaults. STILL the same error. I paid for this product for goodness sake. I'm on a modern machine on presumably the most-used platform and using the flagship product. I have 10+ years professional experience in tech. If I can't get this to run, how can the average user? How can the user experience be this bad?
