S49 MK3 - Serial already registered

I purchased a KONTROL S49 MK3 as a store demo/sample unit.
I tried to add this serial to my native accese but it says this serial has already been registered. I also asked the seller and they told me the serial has never been registered.
So could you please check whether this hardware serial is currently registered to another account and help me register it to my Native Instruments account?

Sorry but you need to contact N.I. Support , use the bot Riff to open a ticket , tell Riff that the suggestions do not help and that you want to open a ticket and have human support assistance.

Ask N.I. Support to transfer the device to your account (also include picture of serial on bottom of device as well as purchase receipt.) . You having bought from a dealer there ought to be no problem at all. When you have opened a support ticket then you should get a ticket confirmation , but there might be a delay with respect to the actual ticket processing due to delays on support at the moment.
