Remapping Pad with different Midi output not working

Hi

I am using FL Studio as DAW and have a plugin loaded called BFD. In the NI Controller Editor I have created a new template and assigned to pad 1 the value C-3 in the note. But this value gets always set back to its previous value and does not stick.

I run the Controller Editor under Administrator and confirm the new value with Enter. I don't know, what else I need to do to have the value changed permanently in this template. I have tried all options provided by Google search but unsuccessful.

Since I am totally new to this topic, I am looking for help here.

Pretty sure C-3 isn't a valid note, so that could be the problem?  The lowest MIDI note is usually C-1 or occasionally C-2 depending on what software you're using.

as an example: from C-1 to C-3 .. but funny thing, I can change it from C-1 to C3 or C1
