Native Access fails after the update (time and time again)

Question

It’s a disgrace that this error pops up with every update: ‘Please grant Native Access permission to install dependencies.’ Isn’t there a single experienced programmer at this company who can solve this problem once and for all, instead of just always recommending yet another NTK Daemon update, which doesn’t even help? I’m so fed up with these constant, serious errors!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

I can’t get Native Access 3.25.2 to work – is there a real working solution?

I was struggeling with that, so thats what i did:

1. uninstall native access

2. Remove service, here is script save id as .ps1 for example remove_service.ps1 and run it in powershell

Or simple - by CMD (Run as administrator)

sc stop NKTDaemon

sc delete NKTDaemon

3. RESTART COMPUTER - It's important.

4. Then install nktdeamon by itself,

(just remove spaces)

- COPY FOLDER NTK

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\NTK

So you will have NTK - Copy

5. Install native access - during instalation, you need to refresh the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments folder, and then NTK folder should dissapear - so you rename NTK - Copy to NTK and thats it!

That's whole the process that fixed that. For some reason - Native access removing NTK folder, trying to install NTKdeamon again which it fails - but as soon as its removed and you rename the folder - Native access not trying to install ntkdeamon again and using the one you installed.

I spent like 3 hours on looking for the problem.

Is the NKTDaemon running as a service ?

And if the what version says the process properties ?

If it is not running then try go to folder C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Native Access\resources\daemon\win     and then run the NTKDaemon setup as an Administrator.

Then reboot computer and check the above again
