Komplete 11 not installing from original SSD on my Mac

Hi there, I can not install Komplete 11 on my new Mac Mini M4. I haven an update to Komplete 15, but first need to install this. Added the Daemon and the Native Access to have full drive acces. Found the issue with Private Relay, but can not change that (because I don't use iCloud I guess).

Have lots of other software depending on this install.

So my Mac sees the original NI SSD. Install fails, and when I copy the content to my harddrive, it does not work either.

Any ideas what the issue is and how to fix it?

This is broad-stroke reports and not sufficient information.

You can only expect reusing of Content (Kontakt libraries) to work and only if you do it properly. You can not just copy plugins and apps and then expect that to work since these must be installed on the new OS for it to work.

So exactly what have you tried to reuse ? and did you do it properly ? Ref. : Reinstalling a Komplete Bundle Without Re-Downloading Kontakt Libraries

As for failing downloads then please give an exact explanation of what fails doing what ?

hi thanks for your quick reply. Like I tried to say, I used to install Komplete form the original NI Komplete 11 ssd. That does not work, I get the ' Failed Intalled. You need to grant full disk access.. thing. I added NTKDaemon and the Native Access to have full access. That did not work, still got the message. After that I tried to copy the full content of the ssd to my local folder, but that did not work either. I know 11 is old, but I also bought the 15 update. I can not install that now. What info would you need to help me?

If you own the 15 update - focus on just that. There is no need to install Komplete 11 on a modern Mac.

Most (if not all) of that old suite is unsupported on Mac OS 26 anyway.

Sorry , I misunderstood the 'oriignal SSD' part. I now understand that you are referring to a Boxed version of Komplete 11 and that you are trying to install from the install media from the box !

First of all then I do not know what kind of install tech that K11 came with in the box. But for any installation to work then if you have installed an old version of Native Access the please uninstall that and use latest version of Native Access for your OS .

Then "my new Mac Mini M4" that sounds as Apple Silicon and you using MacOS 26 . For any installation to work then the software would also have to be able to run on both Mac Silicon and MacOS 26 which I think that at least some of the K11 apps and plugins will not do (e.g. Kontakt 5 and Guitar Rig 5) .

Please check the Apple Silicon Compatibility Status of NI Products , Also : Note: Older, discontinued product versions like KONTAKT 5, GUITAR RIG 5, etc. can only be opened using Rosetta mode and won't be
updated to Apple Silicon compatibility.

For Tahoe then also please check the Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS and the macOS 26 Tahoe Compatibility Statement page where you will find the "First Supported Version" information (please notice that it might be possible to run some earlier version of some software even though it is not supported , but I can not say which) .

Anyway , the way to go about installing is to completely drop the original Boxed version install media (Your versions will be too old anyway) and then instead install using latest version of Native Access for your OS , then turn on 'show legacy versions' in N.A. library view. (N.A. will still not show software not compatible with your OS) This of course requires that your K11 bundle is registered to the account.

For Tahoe then If using Sequoia/Tahoe then if prompted to do so then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network (Ref. : How to grant audio apps access to your local network on macOS 15 Sequoia)

Also then ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Thanks, I can't find a way to reinstall the Kontakt libraries from the old Komplete 11. Thanks for your help.

The libraries should be available in Native Access along with applications and other expansions. Which libraries are you missing? And just in case - do you have Native Access installed? If not you can download it from here - https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access/. That link does return an error at times, but be persistent!

Have you registered your Komplete 11 bundle to your account and are you logged into same account using latest version of Native Access for your OS ?

Then have you turned on 'show legacy versions' in N.A. library view. ?

Otherwise then as mykejb asks : what can you not find a way to install (please be specific) and why not ?
