Seriously what is happening with the removal of the need for Rosetta in NativeAccess 2? Mashine 3.6 is now released and I still can't update!!! So far out of date now…
DO NOT SUGGEST INSTALLING ROSETTA!
Using public beta of macOS 27 reveals that updates for Native Access won't install even with Rosetta installed. They fail when trying to install the NTKDaemon.
Big problems await.
Update: I did find a work-around on Reddit to allow the NTKDaemon to install. So I am now running latest Native Access on macOS 27 public beta successfully
If you need help then either post a proper forum post including all relevant information or contact N.I. Support
Please notice that when you contact NI support then there is a risk that you will receive an AI auto-response and if the ticket confirmation that you receive is an AI response (should say so in email possibly at bottom) then it is important that you answer this response to let NI know that you still need their assistance. This is also valid in general , if you have a support ticket with NI then always respond to their emails as long as that you still need help , else the ticket will close.

What nightjar is referring to is mentioned here : Quote Jeremy_NI , 2026 , June 24 :
MacOS 27 is not supported yet. Rosetta is needed for a few older installers for older third party products. For NI products we migrated almost every product to new installer technology. The Native Access team is totally aware that Rosetta will be obsolete at some point and are preparing for that. No timeline yet.
Someone with a similar issue posted their solution on Reddit, maybe this can help: Link to Reddit post
This link is the solution that worked for me. NTKDaemon installed, Native access updated and runs fine for me under macOS 27 pubic beta one.
