Transfer of serial Number

Hi, I recently purchased a Maschine MK3 from a major music supplier second hand. The Device included a serial number card. When I tried to add the device to native access it wont work as it is already registered. The vendor say they can do nothing that the seller obviously didnt release the serial number online and they cant contact them. Is there any way NI can release the serial if I send a copy of the number and the card that came with the device? Appreciate any help on this.

If you bought from 'a major music supplier' then I doubt that there will be any problem at all.

Send N.I. Support a copy of the purchase receipt/invoice and a picture of the serial on the bottom of the device and then N.I. Support should be able to get the device transferred to/registered to your account.

Also please notice that when you contact NI support then you will receive an AI auto-response and it is important that you answer this response to let NI know that you still need their assistance. This is also valid in general , if you have a support ticket with NI then always respond to their emails as long as that you still need help , else the ticket will close.
