Manager does not show required Kontakt version for certain library.

If open info in NI Access manager about certain Kontakt library (installed or not) in opened info section there is no info about required version of Kontakt for this library, just word "Kontakt".

(As i remember req version was indicated before ? Or i'm mistaken)

Information from Product page :

So either needs latest K8 or at least K7.6 , but you are right , it is confusing , in particular because often when Kontakt version is not specified then it means Kontakt 6 (?)

Native Access - has never displayed the version of Kontakt required (although that would be infinitely handy)

It has always just said "Kontakt"

P.S.

Actually , @Vocalpoint maybe forgets , and so did I for a moment , that there often (?) are attached version requirements when/if you click and read the 'Release Notes' info in the same place in your Native Access. Of course then such info most likely is only available for libraries that have received updates that begs the information to have been added.

Oh - I did not forget Release Notes - but that is not what the OP is talking about - he is talking about this:

And even Release Notes can be hit or miss - depending on product and if that product even has any release notes at all - like say this (VERY recent) product:

Again - inconsistent and shoddy is what comes to mind - when this could be so much better in NA and save the user from trying to navigate the frustration of the NI Main site - which seems to be getting worse by the minute with all the InMusic behind the scenes stuff going on….

Ok thanks guys for info.
Nor particularly regarding my shared screenshot, but i actually remember that i was Able to see require Kontakt version (for each library). But again, i don't remember in what exactly place lol.
But exactly inside manager - because i have some not installed libraries exactly because i seen that it not compatible with my Kontakt (i still have 7). And yes, i would be too lazy to check each requiment by search each web page product. So am sure that it was inside manager.

Completely agree that there are room for many improvements with respect to N.A.

I personally think that inMusic CEO Jack O'Donnell 'means well' but that he is a business man that takes the business decisions that he needs to make the business profitable - else he would not have come as far as he has with inMusic. So , yes , we are most likely going to see further 'consolidations' , but how it pans out I think still remains to be seen….

To be fair then I like most of the new support pages layout a lot more than the old NI style had , they looks better and presents more related stuff. But it is not good if a too heavy handed trashing some pages has taken place, but I still don't know either how this ends….

As for the support AI RIff then from description then it also sounds as an improvement over the old NI AI , let's just hope that it doesn't turn out that he has an other personality named Raff 🤣
