Driver issue with the S4 MK3 since the latest Windows 11 update

Hi everyone, I've been having this problem since the latest Windows 11 update at the beginning of May. I can't use my Kontrol S4 MK3 with Traktor Pro 4. This message appears when I turn on my Kontrol S4 MK3. Has anyone else here had this problem... and, more importantly, how do I fix it... I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled everything, but nothing works. Since Windows 11 released another update this week, I contacted Native Instruments’ support, but they haven’t offered any reliable solution to this problem, which is unacceptable. The Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 is still being sold in stores with a driver that dates back to 2019 and hasn’t been updated since. I am terribly disappointed with Native Instruments. Selling a product without any follow-up on hardware driver updates is truly sad.

Here's a temporary solution: Uninstall your driver and follow these steps:

Hi, i have the same problem, and i have an event in 5 days. I am very disappointed too. I bought the Traktor kontrol S4 Mk3 one month ago. If i would know this, i wouldnt have bought the controller obviously. PLEASE WE NEED A SOLUTION FROM NI URGENTLY. ITS NOT POSSIBLE UNINSTALL OR AVOID THE LAST UPDATE FROM WINDOWS 11.

You can use the WASAPI driver as detailed in the link given earlier. The unit was designed to not require an ASIO driver.

Also, as (I assume) a working DJ do you not have a backup system you can use?

Yes... yes.... I really have a hard time believing you... It's been over two months since this problem with the Kontrol S4 MK3 driver started... and it's still the same response. I really get the impression that this isn't a priority for Native Instruments right now. Despite all that, you keep selling this product... because all that matters is money... I really regret having been a loyal Native Instruments customer for almost 20 years now... I understand better why Pioneer is selling better.
