Maschine 3 without hardware serial

Hi, I have a Maschine Mikro, with no way of getting the serial. Can I buy Maschine 3 software and use it without needing to register my hardware?

I bought Maschine 3 (update from maschine 2) which I was told would work, it didn't, I assume that's because I never had a license for Maschine 2.

If I bought 'Maschine 3 including Maschine Central" for £99 would this solve my problem?

yes buying the full version of maschine 3 will work , what version mikro ?

Correct for the update to work you need a maschine 2 license

You could contact support and tell them you bought the update by mistake, and you may be able to get a refund or something

you could try and source a maschine 2 license from someone , kvr or somewhere , try and look for someone that has an old one from a broken controller or something
