Layout Selector turns OFF FX after latest Traktor update

Hello everyone,

After updating to the latest version of Traktor Pro 4, I started having a problem with the “Layout Selector” command on my X1 MK3. Every time I use “Layout Selector (Inc)” to switch layouts, Traktor automatically disables my active FX/effects. This happens no matter which button I map the command to, including the REV buttons and Browse Encoder Push.

I already removed old and duplicate mappings, kept only the X1 MK3 mapping active, tested different buttons, and recreated the mapping from scratch, but the issue still remains.

Before the update, changing layouts never disabled my effects, so it seems related to the latest Traktor update or the X1 MK3 integration.

This is a big issue for my live workflow because I constantly switch layouts during DJ sets, and the effects turning off unexpectedly creates problems during transitions.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround?

Yes, this has been reported to NI and i estimate (from reports and reactions) that this is being worked on actively and currently.

It's not a mapping issue. It even happens if you change layout with the GUI menu and mouse.

One could fix this via controller manager if I'm not wrong.

-each FX button can be midi router into a modifier that tracks the button states (OFF and ON) (Values o or 1)

-When layout is changed then that same signal is used to retrigger FX state based on what modifiers are tracking.
