Reason Rack as a vst/au plugin is not working. I only get a partial screen and all frozen. ???

Where did you get this release date from? I don’t think there’s any confirmed date yet. I’m guessing it’s more likely to be 14.05. I can’t wait, to be honest haha :DDD

Seems like it was a corrupt "default" project file. When I changed the project to "new", everything worked. Man, I really hate when that happens! I had another issue like this so thats why I thought to maybe try that. Now I have a stranger issue: MK3 controller is being recognized by Reason in the Midi settings as a port but not able to receive the pad messages. AND YET (even weirder), Maschine VST receives the note messages with the MK3 controller in Reason, but the Reason sequencer/track does not receive the note/pad messages. Meaning, I can play the Maschine vst in Reason but I cannot sequence it in the Reason sequencer. Ive followed all the directions. I will also add: Circuit Tracks (both MK3 and Circuit Tracks are usb connected to Mac Mini) does work. So it has to be an issue with the MK3 midi.

What is your screen resolution ? Problem with the appear to be 'frozen' could be that there is something that needs to be clicked on lower hidden part of plugin UI.
Else then I do not know how things works on Mac with respect to scaling and resolution but it could be a problem with Maschine - Reason vs display settings on Windows I would suggest that you checked the scaling settings and maybe lowered the resolution…
I tried Reason plugin on my Maschine on Windows and that presented Reason as plugin as totally blown up , but I also have a too high scaling setting. Alas then for more different reasons and Reasons then I do not have the time to experiment with this at the moment .
This has been a bug since Maschine 3 was first released. Lets hope Reason 14 fixes it (out tomorrow)

But as I wrote above then for more reasons/Reasons then I do not have the time to do any deeper testing or experiments with this at the moment. I considered reporting the issue to Reason Studios but have not gotten around to it either. Also, I have been doing Beta testing for Reason Studios for quite a while and while doing that I have already had among other some NI plugin scaling issues fixed when Reason 13 I just never used Reason as a plugin in Maschine myself. But now that Reason 14 will be out then I guess that my Reason 14 Beta testing days are over anyway since I will not be a Reason 14 licensed user any time soon because I can afford to pay much to upgrade and Beta testing apparently gives zero advantage when it comes to upgrading (already asked if).

I will test it today on both Windows and Mac machines and get back to you ASAP.
OK I could update but am waiting a bit, might not if it doesn't support poly aftertouch (or MPE would be amazing but I doubt it)
Confirmed that it still doesn't support either. How ridiculous!
I have issue on both OS - Reason/Maschine on Mac looks the same. Nothing changed. @Kymeia
Windows situation looks just odd :D (VST open ups in full screen - I can't change nothing)

Ive put this new issue in a separate discussion. The issue with the Maschine VST incomplete screen showing up in Reason has been resolved - at least for me. It appears others are still having issue :(
