How to add instruments to Maschine 3.5?

I'm not able to add instruments to Maschine anymore.
What I did:
- all updated
- full disk access for the required products
- erased the "Machine 3" Folder from the application support lib.
- re-scanned every PlugIn with Maschine

Nothing worked…

Have you checked how things looks in Native Access and if everything lists as OK there ?

If everything checks out in N.A. then have you tried reinitialize the KONTAKT Database and then eventually try the try the Maschine crashes or freezes trouble-shooter ?

From what I have seen the N.A. disseminates information to both Kontakt and Maschine and then Rudiments shown is a Kontakt library. But I honestly have a hard time finding out how it all connects since we ZERO access to any real information about any of it…

What version of Kontakt have you installed? Is it 8.10 or 8.10.1? Can you load Rudiments in Kontakt in standalone?

When in Maschine 3.5, if you add an instrument like this, is Kontakt 8 showing in the VST3s?

Is the Kontakt 8 VST3 plugin showing in your Plugin manager?

It's 8.10.1, it loads Rudiments in standalone mode and no, only in Audio Units Kontakt 8 is showing…not in VST/VST3

@SeeArr I see, I can reproduce the issue on my side but it seems not everyone can. I'm checking with the Maschine team and will get back to you here.

In the meantime the workaround is to load the Kontakt 8 AU plug-in in Maschine from the sound menu like up there and load the instrument you want. Not ideal I know, hopefully we'll get more info early next week.

@SeeArr I think I found the solution. My Maschine 3 software was set to open in Rosetta mode. Make sure to untick that box:

@SeeArr Oh, ok, thanks for the info. I'm checking with both the Maschine and Kontakt team. What model is your iMac exactly?

@SeeArr I somehow managed to make it work. I opened Kontakt 8 in Rosetta mode, closed it and then opened Maschine 3 and rescanned. Since you're on an Intel Mac, could you try to 1. open Kontakt 8 in standalone and close it, then open Maschine 3 and initiate a plugin scan. In case that doesn't help, can you zip and share this file here?

out of interest , if you go to maschine settings/ library, double click on the path of the library location , does it take you to that location in a finder window , and does it look like it’s in the right place

the reason I’m suggesting this , is I have v collection, and mini freak nks preset were always giving me this problem , so reinstalled , I think it worked for a session , then did it again , vst would load fine , just the presets, and only mini freak .

recently noticed it was doing it again , so this time I went to the library location , and found that the presets were inside another sub folder with the same name as the existing one , so I moved them back one folder , and it’s all working

I tried it this way and it didn't help. I also noticed that, when starting up Maschine needs about 5 minutes (also scanning the plugins) to get up.
