Control Rate? Sample Rate? CC Midi issues help needed.

Question

Hi!  I have created a rack using the Toy Box Nano Container Block

and a few others- Midi to CC, etc.  to create a rack that I can send CC to my Moog Muse and it works great, however if I send more than three or so messages simultaneously ex. several LFOs, Ramps, Modulation Sequences, it seems to slow everything down and go out of sync.   Does this have something to do with the Control Rate or Sample Rate I am using?  Currently I'm in Ableton and using 48k with a 256 sample buffer.   And what is the control rate anyway?  I have it at 400 but If I increase it, I get no modulation at all and nothing works.

Do you use midi din cables or midi over USB, cause midi din has a relatively low limit for signals per second. So midi over USB should work better.

Hello,

and if you try to decrease the control rate, so there  is more "space" for each CC signal. And do you use mid din or midi over usb, cause midi din has a relatively low limit for transferring data.
