Second Hand Maschine Plus Registration Key Problem

Hello everyone, I bought a used Maschine Plus. I have proof of purchase. When I enter the key on the back of the device, it says the key is currently active on another account, and I can't add the device to my account. I can't reach the seller for the key. The device is unusable in this state. Can you help me?

I already reach to the support but answer was not enough. Support told me just go buy maschine 3 software but already I have maschine 2. I dont need a daw.

There is an issue with Maschine+ where if updated to latest firmware then you would need Maschine 3 software on account to fix that issue. I do not know the exact nature of the problem.

However I do not think that the above mentioned issue sounds as if it has anything to do with the already in use registration issue. What you have received most likely is an AI auto-response that you need to respond to !

You need to respond to NI Support and politely tell them that you still need help and that in particular you need their help with having the hardware serial moved to your account. NI will then attempt to contact the previous owner and if they allow then NI will do the transfer. If previous owner object to the transfer then NI Support can not help you.

Please notice that even if you get the device transferred then it is still possible that you will need Maschine 3 software on account to get the device to work…
