Hi,
I’m experiencing random, unpredictable clean exits in Traktor Pro 3 and now also in Traktor Pro 4 on Windows 11.
The application simply disappears during playback — no freeze, no error dialog, no “not responding”, and no crash entry in Reliability Monitor.
System:
- Windows 11 (with latest updates to 25.2.2026)
- HP ProBook 440 G8
- Internal audio device (crashes happen even without controller connected)
- Also tested with Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 (same behavior)
Symptoms:
- Sometimes runs perfectly for 7+ hours
- Sometimes crashes after 1–15 minutes.
- Happens during active playback.
- No crash logs in Windows Application log.
- Process simply terminates.
What I tested:
- Wi-Fi disabled (Airplane mode) → still crashes
- No controller connected → still crashes
- TP4 ran 7 hours stable without controller
- Later TP4 crashed again after one minute (with controller connected)
- No visible GPU driver reset in Event Viewer
- No freeze before crash — instant disappearance
Important detail:
The exit looks like a normal termination, not a crash. Windows does not log it as an application error.
Until the end of last year I was still using Windows 10 on the same machine and had no issues at all. The problems started appear after moving to Windows 11 lately.
Question:
Has anyone experienced:
- Random clean exits without crash logs?
- Runtime conflicts on Windows 11?
- Any known issue with recent TP3 build (3.11.117)?
Before I proceed with a full clean Windows re-installation, I’d like to know if this behavior is known or reproducible.
Thanks in advance.
