Laptop crashes with error message everytime i start it

Hello all,
I had the following issue some weeks ago. I have installed Traktor Pro 4.4.1 and drivers dor Traktor S4 MK3 on my windows 11 Laptop. It used to work fine, but after some months, my Laptop started to crash with a black screen and the error message: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED: I used the asio driver. The Copilot told me, that it is because of the driver. I reinstalled the operating system, and now I want to reinstall Traktor. Is there something to obey?

Please check Windows Event Viewer for crash and also any events prior that could lead to the crash….

see here for how to use Event Viewer. To access Event Viewer select the keyboard shortcut Win+R, type eventvwr.msc and press the ENTER key.

Can you try to start Traktor with no internet? No wifi, no ethernet, and see if Traktor can start. There is currently an issue where Traktor can crash when it has internet. Some beatport related code, even when you don't use beatport …

I did not mention, that my laptop crashed every time I started Windows even without starting Traktor with the above mentioned error message. Could it be a driver issue?

Ohh, now I understand. Yeah installing a different version of Traktor or no internet will NOT help in this case.

This is very often a hardware issue.

I assume this also happens when the the s4 is not connected?

Could be totally unrelated to Traktor or the s4. You can remove the driver and see if it helps. But maybe something else is wrong with your laptop.

Hello, the cause of my Problems was the January Update of Windows 11, which can cause crashes. So everything is fine with Traktor pro and my controller s4 mk3.
