Phone Support?

Hi remember talking to a german support agent on the phone not too long ago.
Now I only can find this english speaking, not very helpful AI Bot.
I have a lot of questions that this thing can not understand.
I want to transfer some licenses, but I donÄt know which license I can transfer in order to transfer a product, meaning:
What is the difference between:
Maschine 2 Update
Maschine 2 Update for Maschine
Maschine Refurbished

Which one updates which software exactly?
Only the Maschine 2 Software?
Or also
Maschine 2 Essentials Application for S-SERIES Keyboards

And also:
I own
Komplete 13
KOMPLETE 13 SELECT for HW
KOMPLETE 13 SELECT for S-SERIES
KOMPLETE 13 Upgrade for KSelect
KOMPLETE 14 ULTIMATE Upgrade for KOMPLETE
KOMPLETE ELEMENTS MK2 Maschine MK2 Edition
KOMPLETE KONTROL S49 MK2 Refurbished HW
and KOMPLETE SELECT

Which one upgrades what? And what are those HW keys? Is that a software key for a hardware? For what exactly?

Are there any real NI humans who can help with this jungle?

Hello,

you should also have a HW serial for all hardware and that´s the one you should transfer if you sell your hardware. Here i can link you the article in german and if you have further questions you can pm me in german.

Generally then NI do not have any phone support at all. If you indeed experienced this (?) then that would be someone calling you back and that would be something that only very rarely happens…

Uwe has kindly offered to answer questions for you per DM but Uwe can not give you any actual transfer help all that he can do is to advice you. For any actual transfer help then please use method and link as above…

When selling hardware then as written by Uwe then you usually just transfer the hardware serial , please check the German page referred to by Uwe else then you can also check this English page : All you need to know about License Transfer.

Generally though then you can not transfer anything that came as base software for hardware , e.g. something that says "for S-SERIES" or for "HW"

You should be able to transfer the following :

Komplete 13

KOMPLETE 13 Upgrade for KSelect

KOMPLETE 14 ULTIMATE Upgrade for KOMPLETE

Please notice though that : if you do not have anything that actually only says "Komplete 13" (Standard) the upgrade for K Select would require the person to have Komplete (13 ?) Select them selves and the buyer of the K 14 Ultimate upgrade would need to have the "Komplete 13" (Standard) the upgrade for K Select or another qualifying Komplete (8+) Standard product
