Suddenly my NI Komplete and Kontrol etc do not load update etc.

Last month my NI Komplete Kontrol does not load all content I know I have. It can no longer find samples or load

Many presets are missing, samples and locations are findable and I have content in the normal places such as NI applications. Documents NI, and the NI Komplete on an a journaled usb-c drive.
Native Access (newest version) will not update or download. It Enques, Cued…. Pause… fail.
I would love any help.
I have opened tickets and the obvi. stuff has been done.
Mac studio M1 Max.
Komplete 13, not buying anything until I get what I already paid for.

What version of Kontakt do you have installed?

You said your USB-C drive is journaled - the NI file system recommendation is to use APFS rather than the older journaled formats so that may be causing problems with the installation. They don't say older formats don't work, but if you can try an APFS drive that will at least eliminate that problem.

Are you running KK standalone or in Nuendo?

Not ideal for spinning hard drives - APFS is really optimised for SSDs - Mac OS Extended is still the better choice for non solid hard drives

Good point … I just assume everyone has SSD these days, I should probably ask first !
