When buyer registers the hardware to their account then they should get their own copy from NI registered to their account (or get a voucher to redeem as in case with the Komplete Select bundle for keyboards) of what is considered being the 'base' software for the device !

on a new computer you just install native access and log into your account, you can´t re-register a serial that way and you don´t need it in this case. You can upgrade tp3 to tp4.

If the device originally came with TP3 (?) as 'base' software then buyer will NOT get TP4 but only TP3. You can of course buy an update for your software as already suggested by Uwe.

Hello,

you have to initiate a license transfer for the hardware serial, then the buyer has to import that serial also as a license transfer, then he should have traktor in his account. You can do that online on the "my products" page.

What if I just change my old notebook for a new one but I keep the old S2MK3 model. Is it enough again to register my old serial number? Can I upgrade from the old software for the new Pro4?
