Updating to the latest version of Maschine (3.4.0) in Native Access gives a warning from Windows Defender:

Typical procedure involves uploading the file to www.virustotal.com for scanning .

I downloaded the Maschine_3_Installer.zip version 3.4.0 to my Windows PC and scanned it with my own PC AV (not Windows Defender) and no problem were shown.

If you are confident that you do not have any malware or virus on your PC that could have caused the problem and you are sure that Windows Defender in general will detect a virus in the file made by NI then you should alert either Microsoft or NI Support and have them look into the problem…

This happened to me as well this morning. I cancelled and tried again hours later and it didn't throw the malware warning at me. Just confirming that red_nick wasn't the only one
