Need Help Accessing Traktor License for Used Kontrol S8

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a used Traktor Kontrol S8. I know it’s a discontinued unit, but I’ve always loved this controller and was really excited to finally get my hands on one.However, I’m facing a problem.I was expecting the seller to provide the original Traktor license, but after the purchase, they refused to transfer it. From what I understand, the S8 originally came with Traktor Scratch Pro / Traktor Pro license included, so I’m now stuck with the hardware but no software to use it properly.

So my question is:
Is there any chance Native Instruments could provide me with a license so I can actually begin my journey with the S8?

Any help from NI staff or guidance from the community would mean a lot!

(PS: I have already generated one ticket for this issue)

You can start of with the demo of Traktor 4 Pro. You can use that 30 minutes at a time.

As you already created a ticket, there is nothing the community can do from our side. I heard about mixed results from writing to NI about issues like this. Let us know what they say :)
