Continuing Issues with Native Access Login ?

New to the forum but have been using Kontakt 8 bundle for a while.

Since late last night I have not been able to log in through the Native Access Desktop, on either of my two computers that have it installed. It "checks authentication" and asks me to log in but the log in screen is blank. Popup says "Failed to Update Native Access. Please install latest version." I did install the latest version, and that doesn't change anything. Just going in circles.

Sometimes the login screen is not blank, and I enter my login details, then it tells me "Unable to log in." I am confused.

I note that the Native Instruments website itself is hit and miss in loading. While most other websites are loading quickly as normal. I would infer that NI is having some technical difficulties ??

I personally have not had any problems with N.A. so hard for me to say if what you experience is because of where you live or because of a problem on your computer…

Also this is late Friday afternoon and support generally do not work in the weekends

Have you checked under preferences to see if your login has gotten corrupted?

I am able to log in to the Native Instruments website with only modest delays. So at the website my login is good.

I just cannot get Native Access desktop to complete a log in. So how can I get to "Preferences" if the desktop app won't work ? The "Log in to Native Access" is just a blank page. I have tried re-installing Native Access. Makes no difference.

I have verified my internet connectivity, and nothing seems amiss. I have no trouble accessing Musio and other sites. And Native Access worked fine until late last evening when it appears to have updated itself. Sam problem on both computers.

I have also tried a clean install of Native Access 3.18.1 on a third computer. Save behavior. Blank log in window. So neither 3.18.1 nor 3.20.1 are working for me.

Preferences is under you File menu at the top left and select settings. I'm wondering if the notice you're receiving is due to Native Access not being able to check it's update status, but maybe if you cancel out of that warning box you might still have access to the menu selections.

There is no "preferences" option under the File menu, only "exit" … I am guessing "preferences" are inaccessible unless I am logged in, and it won't let me log in.

There is a link in Native Access to report a bug, and it triggers a browser window and a support.native-instruments.com website, but the page is blank for a while and eventually loads, then goes blank again saying "this site cannot be reached" …

Looks to me like there is a connectivity problem with Native Instruments. All other websites seem to be loading quickly and properly. Every now and then I get the Native Instruments page to load. Sometimes I am, able to log in to the website, but not Native Access Desktop app. It is almost like something is blocking "Native Instruments" on all of my computers.

I have an internet connectivity monitor that says my connection had no disconnects, is 100% up all day wth 6 ms latency. I do a speed test and get 500 Gbps up and down. But still no Native Instruments.

Okay, so I have now uninstalled the most recent version, including NTK Daemon, and then rebooted, and then re-installed Native Access. NOW I get the "settings" under "file" but nothing happens when I select it, because Native Access is hung up "loading products" … So we have different behavior, but still won't allow me to log in.

Closed the program and restarted, NOW back to where we were before. No longer hung up, just have a blank log in page. Going in circles.

I was finally able to submit a support request, BUT they only allow 128 characters for a "detailed" description, which is almost useless. And I am still getting "site cannot be reached" message when trying any Native-instruments.com webpage. Then after a while, it loads. Going in circles.

I did cancel out of the warning message, did not change anything.

I do appreciate all this advice, but my frustration is growing. I have a lot of money invested here and I am unable to access or download the content I have paid for ( Kontakt 8 Bundle ). Fortunately earlier ( weeks ago, when Native Access was working ) I was able to download the Symphony Series ( paid for ) and it is working. Just cannot get the rest.

Okay, so, the mystery deepens. This morning Native Access is working properly. I didn't "do" anything. Still don't know why for about 30 hours Native Access would not work at all, while everything else in my computer world was working well.

I have been having the identical issue. No response from Tech Support. I have gone through the uninstall and reinstall as cited on the site several times. This needs to be resolved.

I'm having a similar issue. It's my first time using Access. I've created 2 different logins and none seems to work. I triple checked the login info and the window shakes like the password is wrong, but it is correct. I've been trying for 3 days. I'm still waiting for the support team. Can you help me, @Jeremy_NI ?

There is only a single login that you need - and it's credentials NEED to be identical to those you use for your master NI account - online at the NI website.

If you are attempting to deviate from the username and PW you use for your NI master account login - in any way - your success rate will drop to zero - fast.
