Absynth and Maschine 3

Hi,

I read that Absynth is no longer supported, particularly following system updates on MacOS, but I haven't seen anything regarding Windows. Absynth no longer works on my system (Win 11) with Maschine 3 (refusing to load), while it works correctly with Maschine 2.
It bothers me a little, especially since I'm experiencing other compatibility issues with version 3.0 of Maschine (see post on Arcade d'Output).

Is this a known problem? Or is it the discontinuation of a product, even though it is of good quality? (and bought, by the way)

Back in July NI said in the Community Update: "we’re working on a big update to a much-loved synth product". They didn't say more, but…..

Absynth 5 loads just fine on my Win 11 maschine in Maschine 3, so it would appear as being a problem on your computer.

Absynth 5 is no longer supported on neither Windows nor on MacOS , but from what I understand then it should generally run on Windows 10/11 (and might even run on Mac ?)

Mac : (Apple silicon related ?) Absynth will load (outside KK) with or without Rosetta 2 in Live if you are using the AU. If you want to use it inside KK you need to let KK load the VST2 (which may mean adding the path to the VST2 folder and scanning those plugins first in standalone). Which would mean running KK standalone in Rosetta mode as well as Live.
