iZotope Products (all of them) - Now in Native Access?

Just logged into NA - and saw this:

Where I had just a small smattering of iZotope stuff just yesterday - now my entire lineup appears to be managable within Native Access.

Looks like things are happenin!

It's confusing still because it shows Ozone 11, Neutron 4 and RX 10 as needing repairing which I had fully uninstalled using iZotope software centre before I installed Ozone 12, Neutron 5 and RX 11 (none of which show). This is why I wish you could hide products in NA.

It read all of my current item status as correct. But I do not have any of the newer product (like OZone 12) in my layout yet. And I did not uninstall anything since I build this DAW in Feb 2024.

I believe this was a long time coming and not everyone's config will be bang on - suspect here will be some teething issues as with all things like this.

I had nothing yesterday and all of a sudden today - there they are.

Pretty sure this will be a staged rollout.

It should not be showing those products as needing repair though, it should show them as needing installing (because they are uninstalled by iZotope's own uninstaller).

Not disagreeing with you for sure.

But unless this specific scenario - was tested and then NA updated (in code) to check for this condition (and most likely a ton of others) - can't assume anything will be accounted for. Especially your very specific scenario.

My take? This the first (of a series) of major moves to unify the product lines. Roll this first salvo out there and then start stamping out exceptions.

Remember too - these products suddenly just showed up here for me today - with NO update to Native Access.

I am guessing there is lot more coming down the pipes as far as NA is concerned.

This could all end up in another wave of “why is it not working?”, “why isn’t my product there?”, “why does it show repair?”… and so on and so forth…

I’m afraid the old times of “release a feature when is ready and tested” are long time gone. Specially with NI.

Btw: I don’t think a scenario like “those products are not installed. They should show up as Install and not Repair” can be defined “very specific”.

I would even call it “the basics”

I came here because I just opened Native Access and I noticed all my Izotope products that I bought and updated in the past via the Izotope Portal now show up in my library inside NA.
A cool and handy update.
Does this now mean I do not longer need the Izotope Portal and that all updates in the future will be handled in NA?

I was thinking the same - but I am going to take the high road and leave Product Portal in place until at least the end of 2025.

Hopefully we get the official word on when it's good to drop it.

Not disagreeing with you either. This is clearly a process that doesn't have all the kinks ironed out - so those kinks should be reported. The issue for me is these plugins are not just showing need for repair but also appearing in updates so I have to selectively update only what is safe. That is a pain.

It also shows the iZotope uninstallers are clearly not uninstalling everything they should do and leaving traces that NA misinterprets as installed products needing repair. For example I can still see a whole bunch of .plist files in user preferences that should have been deleted.

Were these registered on iLok account ? (not referring to if actually activated on iLok)

Just curious as to how the transfers are determined…

Mine are not transferred from iZo PP to N.I. account yet, but I have the products registered on the iLok also…. And N.I. have stated that N.A. connection with iLok (if ?) is something that is coming later….

Some of mine have started to appear now. Comparing with what's in the PP, there doesn't seem to be any link between what's iLok and what's not - I've got a mix.
