New user. Downloaded everything in Native Access. When I start the programs, my screens dont match with the manual or with the Youtube videos.
What do I to do first to connect my A49 Komplete keyboard?
Thanks for your caring comments! I came in a little sideways into this post and here is a short history.
You are welcome 🙂 , and thank you for your patience and for caring to explain.
I bought the Komplete 15 Select Band with a voucher. It is not in my Library.
Again , first thing to check is if you can see the bundle as registered on the MY PRODUCTS AND DOWNLOADS page . If it lists as registered then you need to make sure that you are logged into the correct account using latest version of Native Access for your OS
If the bundle is registered and bundle products still does not show in Library tab then try resetting the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access .
If purchased bundle does not show on account or none of the above helps then only N.I. Support (all) can help.
Yesterday, however, after trying to chat again, the chat robot gave me a “ticket number” and I got a mail from NI with the number. I also could specify more about my problem which I did. So now I hope some real NI person can help me.
Great that you managed to create a ticket and that you received the ticket confirmation. Just respond promptly to N.I. support and clear up any misunderstanding if any and they will assist you.
As long as that you respond politely and promptly yourself then you should receive further answer within a few workdays. If not then call for me by quoting or call forum Customer Care directly yourself (Jeremy_NI).
I hope that you will get the issue(s) fixed soon. 🙂
.
Using latest version of Native Access for your OS
then : Follow the Get started : A-Series quick start guide.
Thanks!
I did so already. In the step "Go to Monarch", I don't see a Monarch … There my progression stops.

You do not give very much information at all .
Registering the hardware will result in you getting emails(s) from NI with codes to get the DAW Ableton Live Lite and a voucher redeem code to get Komplete Select 15 for zero. If you didn't get the emails then check email spam folder . (check the Instruments Included section of this page)
You are supposed to go to the N.I. site and buy the Komplete 15 Select of your choice for zero using the voucher code , when bought then Komplete 15 Select should then be added to your account and the bundle content added in the Native Access library.
The instructions says to install KOMPLETE KONTROL software and library on your computer. (library = Komplete 15 Select software parts)(parts showing in N.A. depends on what Komplete 15 Select of your choice). P.S. I am not sure that Monark that is mentioned in the first steps are included in the Komplete 15 Select. The "Get Started" appear to have been made to either using another previous version of Komplete Select or for using Komplete Standard.
If Monark is not included with your Komplete 15 Select then you need to select another installed instrument to continue the quickstart , I am alerting Customer Care of the possible discrepancy here.
Ensure your A-Series Keyboard is connected to your computer using the USB cable provided.
Then the instructions says : Run the KOMPLETE KONTROL software. Note, that on the first launch, it will take some time to set up the library.
You also need to setup audio and Midi in the komplete Kontrol software and later also in the Kontakt software before using that.
Have you installed the Komplete Kontrol software ? And are you running Komplete Kontrol ?
If you are running the Komplete Kontrol software and the keyboard does not communicate with the software then either you have not installed the software and drivers properly or the keyboard is not connected properly to the computer.
Else please include screenshots to make us understand where you are in your setup.
@Karl Sche Monark is only here as an example, you can choose whatever product you find in the browser and apply the same steps.
Thanks, Fellow, for this clear and extensive guidance! I am surprised that NI is not as clear as you are … I have ordered the Komplete 15 Select and am waiting for it to be available to me in Native Access.
Thanks, Fellow, for this clear and extensive guidance! I am surprised that NI is not as clear as you are … I
Appreciate the kind words , thank you.
have ordered the Komplete 15 Select and am waiting for it to be available to me in Native Access.
You should hopefully had Komplete 15 Select for nothing using the voucher on the N.I. site as mentioned above ?
Else then you can check on your MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS page that the Komplete 15 Select is registered to your account. It ought have been added to your account as soon as you 'bought' it if you were logged into the correct account. As for showing in Native Access then be sure that you are using latest version of Native Access for your OS . The bundles does not show by bundle names in Native Access they show by the names of the products that the bundle consists of. If the products does not show then try log out of N.A. then reboot computer and then log-in again. If bundle products still does not show then try resetting the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access .
If you want Monark and all the full version N.I. apps and a lot of other great stuff then get the Komplete 15 Standard bundle or higher tier as an upgrade to your Komplete 15 Select. (N.I. regularly have sales where bundle upgrades often has been seen on sale 😉).
P.S.
N.I. gives you a free plugin bundle via PluginAlliance
SonusCore have seven free items for Kontakt , but six of them require full version of Kontakt. (of the free libraries then only "The Orchestra Elements" works with the Player version of Kontakt)
Fracture Sounds : Blueprint Collection , 21 (?) free Kontakt instruments that works with the free Kontakt Player. To get the 'Blueprint series instruments then you are required to subscribe to a newsletter to get the link to be able to buy the instruments at zero cost (no CC required) Every individual instrument in the collection require it's own key to redeem in Native Access and is a download of it's own.
I can now see Komplete 15 Select in Native Access. It is marked that I own the product but I can not download it. In the mail from NI confirming my purchase (it was free), they refer to another mail with a link for download. I received no such mail. It is now 2 days ago I ordered. Would this take such a long time?
Please get in touch with our support if you are experiencing this kind of difficulties: https://bit.ly/NI_Support_All
I can now see Komplete 15 Select in Native Access.
What do you mean "I can now see Komplete 15 Select in Native Access." ? , as far as I know then bundles do not show by name in N.A. only by name of products that the bundle consists of in tab Library.
but I can not download it
We need a lot more information , e.g. screenshot of errors and exact version of Windows and version of N.A: used ?.
In the mail from NI confirming my purchase (it was free), they refer to another mail with a link for download. I received no such mail. It is now 2 days ago I ordered. Would this take such a long time?
Check to see if the bundle Komplete 15 Select lists as registered on the the MY PRODUCTS AND DOWNLOADS page and check if all the products of the selected bundle variant lists in N.A. library tab. All actual download of the bundle should happen using latest version of Native Access for your OS .
You ought also have had an email from NI with a code to get the DAW Ableton Live Lite. (check the Instruments included section down this page)
The Komplete 15 Select Band is in my Native access, see picture. But I cannot download it.
And I never got the NI mail about a code and about Ableton. That is probably the problem.
Checked both Trash and Junk/Spam.
No ! you do not have "Komplete 15 Select Band in your Native access other than as a picture shown from the Discovery tab in the shop. I were almost sure that you had made this mix-up. Please check out what the actual meaning of the tabs are. The Discovery tab shows things to buy , the library tab shows things already owned (or have subscription for ?)
As I wrote earlier then bundles do not show by name in N.A. they show by the names of the products that they include and if you have a bundle then it will show by that the products that is in the bundle appear in the library , use Library tab !
Since you appear to be a little confused with respect to the whole process then it is impossible for me to determine what is what here.
Have you actually registered the keyboard hardware serial in Native Access ?
When / if registering the hardware did you then receive the Komplete Select on your account (MY PRODUCTS AND DOWNLOADS page) or did you receive a voucher per email to go buy the Komplete Select for nothing in the shop ? (we still do not even know the basics here , like when you bought the keyboard ? or if you actually did register the hardware ? )
Anyway then check the Instruments included section down this page
Then please contact N.I. Support (all) and ask them to help you get what it says on the page that you will get. (you need the help of someone with access to your account and purchase history and I have none of that)
In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care
I bought a A49 keyboard this August. I then registered the product with the serial number.
I received some mails from NI, amongst other with reference to Native Access. I followed the instructions, downloaded Native Access and downloaded from there what I could download. This included Kontakt, Kontakt 7, Kontakt 8, Komplete Kontrol, Controller Editor and Reaktor 6, in addition to some instruments.
I never received a mail with link to installation procedures or so, other than a link for installing Native Access. Neither a mail mentioning Ableton Lite. I think this is may be the crucial problem I have had. I was totally bewildered that there was (is) not a clear installation guide/procedure. The quick guide to connect to my A49 didn’t work either, so I never got a sound out of my keyboard.
It is very difficult to get into contact with a real person at NI. I tried to chat without success. Therefore I tried the NI community.
Thanks also for explaining the difference between Library and Discovery in NA. I bought the Komplete 15 Select Band with a voucher. It is not in my Library. However, I can see it in Discover when I remove the filter “Hide owned products” (this filter is on by default). The product is also displayed as Registered in “My Products & Downloads”.
Now I hope to get the help I need from NI!
