Kontrol S88 MK3 – Missing Entitlements (Hardware Registered, Software Not)

Tried to start a support ticket but it didnt go through, so trying here

Subject: Kontrol S88 MK3 – Missing Entitlements (Hardware Registered, Software Not)

Hi NI tech lead Support,

I’ve registered my Kontrol S88 MK3, and the hardware shows as registered in my account. However, three essential components still show as Not Registered online:

Hardware Connection Service
Komplete Kontrol
Native Browser Preview Library

As a result, the keyboard only shows the default MIDI screen, and no libraries are available on the S88 browser. I have tried reinstalling Komplete Kontrol, resetting the database, rescanning, and refreshing Native Access, but the issue persists.

Can you please attach these entitlements to my account so that the S88 MK3 integrates properly with Komplete Kontrol?

Have you installed the Hardware Connection Service in Native Access? If you have the S88 registered to your account it should be available in Native Access. Also, as you're on a Mac you'll need to add NIHostIntegrationAgent into the Local Network group in your Privacy & Security settings.

Try clicking the link on this page : Hardware Connection Service download

Else then check if you can download the Hardware Connection service from this page : Account downloads (search for hardware)

and no libraries

Yes , the keyboard can not browse libraries before the direct connection is established by having the hardware Service installed and running. (And then run komplete Kontrol or Kontakt 7 or 8)

Also please notice that when registering the hardware then you should get emails with a code to get Komplete Select 15 from the N.I. shop as well as getting a code to get Ableton Live Lite.

Yes I ha e hardware connect installed. I’ve tried installing and resinstalling that a few times. I guess one of my big questions is also, should the s88 show in my library in Native Access? Was just trying to hone in on where the problem is. It’s for sure a communications or database thing in my view as the keyboard works, the software works, they just arent talking to each other for some reason. I really have tried a ton of things to try and solve this. I’m sure there is a solution, just havent got it yet. So then I logged into my account on th NI site and noticed that Komplete Kontrol and these other seemingly essential thigns were not listed as registered even though I have Komplete Ultimate 15, and installed everything as I should have I believe.

The S88 will not show in Native Access. I checked your account and it's properly registered.

Hardware Connection Service, Komplete Kontrol and the Native Browser Preview Library do not need to be registered. The problem seems to be something else.

Also make sure to give full disk access to Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt, your DAW, the Hardware Connection Service: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

So that was for the Hardware/Software communication part.

Now regarding the libraries, if you open Native Access or Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt, are all your products showing there? I mean without the keyboard connected.
