When can we expect a new controller from Traktor? The S4MK3 is already outdated.
Please write if there will be an update, or should I switch to other controllers?
Outdated in what way? Which functionality that DJs require is missing?
Just know that NI isn't talking and the forum users don't know anything and if anyone does it's NDA all the way to any kind of release date.
Traktor is just a launcher app for different subscription services now. I think it might still work as an MP3 player
There will be new hardware later this year according to Simon. No details as to what, so it might just be a set of replacement knobs for one of the controllers. But I'm hoping for more!
I would kill for a single deck version of the S4.
Well the F1 did disappear from native store a few months ago. Since they released a new Z1 & X1 that could be the next update.
I'm also dreaming of a new S4 but when I think about it... I would love a 6 channels controller with stems, 4 knobs by channel for low, low mid, high mid & high (like on the Xone 96), and more hybrid setup minded would be nice. They were really too early with the S8...
That would also mean Traktor 5 probably... Like they did previously when updating/releasing S3/S4
