I have an old Traktor S4 MK3 controller. The device is about six years old, but actually worked out perfectly all these years. I didn't use it for the last months and tried to reconnect it to my DJI laptop that I also used for years already. Usually, both of the devices were connected multiple times, and everything worked out perfectly. Now, when I plug in the DJ controller, the mapping is all over the place. For example, I use the pitch fader for deck A and the gain for deck B activates, and the same works the other way around. I use the gain of deck B, and the pitch fader of deck A moves. Some equalisers do not work at all. The volume faders do not work at all.
To keep things short, some buttons work, some buttons do not work at all, and other buttons and knobs seem to have the wrong mapping.
- How can I change this mapping?
-Is there any pre-developed mapping that I can simply download?
-And another question is did anyone ever experience similar problems
I think it is important to mention that I contacted the customer support already, and all the solutions they offered, from deleting the driver of the Traktor S4 MK3 controller or updating native access or any other solution the website and the customer support offered did not lead to success.
I am using a Windows laptop with Traktor Pro 4, and it is important to mention that the same problem appears when I use Traktor 3.
