Request for .tsi Mapping for Traktor Kontrol Z1 MK2 in Traktor Pro 4

Hello community,

I recently purchased a Traktor Kontrol Z1 MK2 and I’m using Traktor Pro 4 on Mac. However, in Controller Manager there’s no predefined mapping for the Z1 MK2, so I can’t use it properly.

Could someone please share their .tsi file for the Z1 MK2 mapping?
This would be a huge help, as without this mapping the controller is practically unusable.

What version of TP4 are you using? TP 4.2.0 should have the mapping ready when you connect the device.

To manually add the factory mapping:

Preferences → Controller Manager → Press 'Add…' button and navigate to this place.

I just went to that option, but the Z1 MK2 preset doesn’t appear — I only see Z1. When I select it, the In Port and Out Port show as “None,” and nothing gets mapped. Do you think you could select the one that appears for you, export the mapping configuration file, and share it with me?

It won't help you if you have a version of TP4 without the Z1MK2 code. So, which version are you using?

What I need is to be able to export the preconfiguration of z1 mk2 and with the TSI file that is generated with that export I import it from this side and it works but I need someone to help me with that preconfiguration export

Which Traktor version are you using? Is it a secret? 🙂

If you use a version of Traktor Pro before 4.1.0 this .tsi should be pretty much useless. Z1 Mk2 requires at least 4.1.0 to work.

I have version 4.1.0 for some reason the mapping doesn't appear, so if someone could support me by sharing it with me and I can import it into my TK, I would really appreciate it.

The reason it doesn't show up is because the version you are using does not support the z1mk2.

Just start Native Access and upgrade to version 4.2 with no cost involved. This will solve your problem, which cannot be solved any other way.
