Acting on the prompt in Native Access, I ventured to update my Kontakt 8.5 to the latest version. The update was successfully downloaded, and started to do the update.
The process of update never ended… Now, the older version is completely removed, but the newer version never installed. Nevertheless, Native Access neither offers the possibility of re-installing the older version, nor completes the update.
I finally resorted to un-installing the older version through the Windows Control Panel (which was still seeing it, though all its folder and Desktop icon had long vanished…), in the hope I could do the re-installation through Native Access. To no avail…
