I have had no issues using Native Access for a while and then it auto-updated from 3.17 to 3.18 and now it does not work and I have no access to add my purchases to the library. I am running Kontact 8 and that still works, as well as all my other programs like Pulse.
When I open Native Access it runs 5 or so powershell scripts and then when the program shows up finally I see e screen only has the text:
"Daemon version could not be determined"
Then Native Access runs some other powershell scripts and then the text changes to this (usually before I have a chance to get a screenshot):
"Unable to start the NTK Daemon. Please restart Native Access. If the issue persists, please contact support."
However, I can easily verify this is false, and NTK Daemon 1.23 is running in Task Manager.
The last commands it is apparently sending seem to be trying to make a sandbox, and I'm guessing something new about 3.18 makes it fail. I tried uninstalling and going back to 3.17 but that didn't work, so I wiped everything out and then reinstalled 3.18 and the NTK daemon (I found the link on another article: "Native Access Error: "Please grant permission to NTK Daemon to install dependencies" " and already updated NTK Daemon to 1.23).
Any ideas? Is there some way to get NA to acknowledge that the NTK Daemon is already running?
