Sales promotions do not always work at Native Instruments

I was caught by a sales promotion earlier this year. Buy a Z1 and get a Traktor Bag for free. The only thing I was supposed to do was to enter the promotion code. I did this and it did not work. So I contacted customer service. This is the answer I got:

Unfortunately, the sale has expired since we have answered the request on the 18th June and were waiting for a response. The reason why you were unable to apply the code is that the Traktor bag was not in your cart. 

Boom - it was my fault …
