My KOMPLETE offers

Hello to all,
I’m slightly confused concerning pricing for my KOMPLETE offers. As you can see from my order history I have purchased KOMPLETE 14 collectors edition (upgrade from ULTIMATE).
In my offers I see, update 224,50 GBP, and Full version 1079,39GBP.
When I go through to check-out the only option provided is the Full version. I was expecting to pay just the update.
I’m certainly missing something and would appreciate clarification about this and mostly what is the difference is between update and full version ?
regards,
Lee

If you have KOMPLETE 14 collectors edition then you qualify for the update price if you are logged into that account in the shop. (Komplete15 Collectors Edition compare page )
If you can not buy to the update price then you should get N.I. Support (all) to help you.

AH.. I think it's because I'm on KOMPLETE 14 and the the full version price is for moving to KOMPLETE 15 ?

Your price will always be based on the left column of this link - something from there needs to be registered to your NI account:

Really? I bought a Maschine Mk3 last year and obtained a "KOMPLETE 14 SELECT for HW" this way. During Summer of Sound last year I upgraded my bundle to Standard and got "KOMPLETE 14 STANDARD Upgrade for KSelect" registered to my account.
This year I made the upgrade to 15 Ultimate and of course I was offered and got upgrade pricing with "KOMPLETE 14 STANDARD Upgrade for KSelect" as qualifying product. No issues during checkout and got only billed the upgrade price.
If upgrades wouldn't qualify me for upgrades or updates this wouldn't have been possible as my only full version of Komplete is "KOMPLETE 14 SELECT for HW" and my upgrade to 15 Ultimate would have been much more than 299,50 €.
Of course you must have a full version as base product and cannot transfer this after an upgrade or update but as long as all needed base products are still in your account you should be able to update an upgrade with associated pricing from it to higher tiers or higher versions.
If I try to buy Collector's Edition today NI of course offers me this as another upgrade as my "KOMPLETE 15 ULTIMATE Upgrade for KOMPLETE" qualifies for loyalty pricing. I can proceed until payment with this upgrade pricing - didn't made the last step to enter my credit card as I don't want to by Collector's right now.
Therefore @LeeCatty should be eligible to an upgrade price to 15 Collector's Edition if there is already an fully working 14 Collector's Edition (even if it is just an update or upgrade) registered to that account - otherwise it wouldn't state a discounted pricing on "My KOMPLETE offers". Of course all products that were necessary for the update/upgrade to 14 Collector's Edition must be still present in this account too.

Hmm - I "may" stand corrected. And I did edit my post above.
That said - if you take a close look at the link I posted above - it is clear that no "upgrade" or "update" are listed as "base qualifiers" (in the left column).
In order to qualify for any special pricing - something from that left column - must be registered to you at sometime in the past to gain any access to an upgrade.
And of course an "update" can only be gleaned if you already own the prior version - at that tier.
In my case - every time I hit the shop to purchase a Komplete ULT "Update" - the NI Shop ALWAYS posts up a blurb quoting some ancient product of mine saying "Because you purchased Komplete 10 (sometime about a 100 years ago) - you qualify for special pricing".
It has never said "Hey - we see you purchased Komplete 14 ULT Update in Dec 2023 - so you get special pricing".
It always defaults to some really old base qualifier product - which is always part of the left column in that link above. Always.
Now - there could be another table of possible paths that I am unaware of and might also make some of these more exotic combinations possible - but the NI Shop and it's pricing logic have always been a minefield and hard to understand at the best of times.
