backup libraries
Hello, I would like to know if there is any way to backup the libraries so that later, if you format and reinstall Windows, you don't have to connect to Native Access to download the libraries again.

Install everything to a separate "content" drive is the first step.
Second Step - Before any rebuild activities - document your existing File Locations in Native Access:
Third step - when it comes time to reformat - disconnect the content drive, reinstall Windows, reconnect the drive and ensure it gets the same drive letter as your previous build.
Final step - once the OS is configured, drivers are solid, drives are appearing in Disk Management and all hardware is connected - install Native Access as your very first piece of NI software and set your File Locations back to exactly the way they were when you documented the old install.
Exit Native Access and then come back into it - you should see a series of Locate buttons appear in the UI - which will allow you to "reconnect" valid existing content on the previous content location.
Power Tip: I say "valid" because not all content can be relocated. Some items like Expansions, application software (like say Guitar Rig etc) all will need to be reinstalled again - even if the content already exists on your old Content drive.
I do this every time I build a new DAW - works every time.

I don't know about Maschine specifically but in general then N.A. offers this functionality , which allows you to copy the Kontakt libraries from previous installation and use them to re-install :
Reinstalling a Komplete Bundle Without Re-Downloading Kontakt Libraries
You can also move the Kontakt libraries to another location on computer :
Moving a Native Instruments Product to Another Location on Your Computer
Using the Repair / Relocate All Function in Native Access
However if you decide to use an external drive for Kontakt libraries then please note the following :
Storing Libraries on an External Drive for both Mac and Windows
We do not recommend storing your libraries and content on an external drive to be used by both a Mac and Windows computer. It may cause performance issues.
If using Native Instruments software on a Mac and Windows computer, we recommend using separate external drives specifically for each OS.
For best results, your external drive should be formatted the same as your operating system's native format. These are : Windows ; NTFS , Mac OS X 10.12 and earlier ;HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) . macOS 10.13 and later ; Apple File System (APFS)

Quote : Important note for Windows users: Make sure the external drive always gets the same letter assigned by Windows. Otherwise, the KONTAKT libraries will not be found during use.
