group and move scenes inside the song arranger menu?

my workflow might be a little different:

each group is a song in my Maschine 3 (for live performances) because I never need more than 16 channels. Here is the thing. I build a song for a performance in the arranger view, after I made scenes. I have a, say 8 songs. First song starts at bar 1 etc. - Now, after a few performances, I want to change the order of the songs (groups). I can change the order of the songs (groups) but not the starting points and I can not group the scenes.

I can not group and move all scenes in the song (arranger) at the same time : (

I have to convert everything into "clips"

I can not name the "new" scene with clips and group them : (

I have to move all clips out of their scenes to an empty space on the right : (

I then have to delete all empty scenes in the song (arrangement) : (

Now I can not loop the clips when I want during my live perfomance because I can not make a new scene with my "clips" : (

I like maschine 3 a lot but this is hard for me to swallow this limitation : )

Does anybody has any help or idea?

Thank you all

Hummm… Maschine was never built to have your particular workflow in mind, whenever we want to fit several songs in a single project we have to deal with workarounds.

Just changing the order is rather easy, as long as you dont have a really high amount of Scenes, i'd just drag them around.

Personally, I would avoid this approach of changing the order on the project, the first song could very well be the 2nd one on the arrangement. I'd just write down the order somewhere and refer to it or rename things on the project, for example:

Obviously, being able to select several Scenes and move them together would be great, not just for your usecase but also for just arranging in general.

It's your way which means in this particular case that you are creative, there are no rules its important that it's working for you.

When you changing the order of the tracks try to do it as much fast that you can and part that would sounds wrong cover with some FX. Here is just one basic example; cut off filter can bring section to bass onley and turn back to default position with new next track.

You can also combine few tracks in Sampler( for transition between performance tracks ) and track with separated elements that you will control more during the live.
