Plugins Disabling Keyboard & Mouse Input While Plugin Window Is Open (and Other Conditions)

This originally was going to be a post about this behavior happening with just one plugin, but now I've experienced it occur with two. My computer specs are on the bottom of this post.

The first is Guitar Rig 7 in Ableton Live 11 Suite. When pressing the space bar one too many times while the plugin window is open -usually the button used for playback on most DAWs- the graphical framerate of Ableton will be significantly reduced, maybe about 5 FPS, and all inputs from the mouse and keyboard will stop working. I will not be able to close the plugin window, I won't be able to close Ableton; I won't be able to stop playback using the space bar, or even close Ableton using the keyboard. The only way to get out of this is to force close Ableton in Task Manager. Despite this, all audio and MIDI operations will work completely uninhibited. I have a Novation 49SL MkIII, and I can use the transport buttons to start and stop playback, as well as control parameters and play notes.

The second plugin is Replika XT, but only in a very specific case. While my current DAW of choice is Ableton Live, I used to use FL Studio, and I've been trying to open an old project in FL 21. The project itself loads fine, but has a few plugin windows that appear from the last time it was saved. One of those is Replika XT, and it too causes the complete inability to use the keyboard and mouse to interact with the software the graphical frame rate is reduced, but once again, MIDI and audio work fine when being controlled from my Arturia MiniLab 3. Luckily, I've not experienced this behavior from Replika XT elsewhere (yet). I have also not tested if Guitar Rig 7 will exhibit this behavior in FL 21, but I'm willing to bet it will.

This is a serious bug that needs to be addressed, as it has made GR7 almost unusable if I'm not extra careful, and has made a project file completely inaccessible. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this recently.

My OS is Windows 10 x64. My current hardware is an ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi, and AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, an MSI GeForce GTX 1060 (if that matters), and 32 GB DDR5 RAM. I have experienced this same issue though on an older motherboard/CPU/RAM setup (same GPU and boot drive with the OS and installation files).
